"WWE BACKLASH 2020"

"If this happens, this could be considered the greatest Wrestling Match ever." If you want to summarize WWE Backlash 2020 in just one phrase, you should use this one; they built the entire show upon a match between two veterans like Randy Orton and Edge, but we will get there later. The Kickoff had Andrade against Apollo Crews for the United States Championship and Owens and Garza somewhat got involved so I think that things among these four may continue; Crews stays champion and this is the best choice to try to establish him as a legit champion.

The Main Show starts with Women's Tag Team action and I am okay with that, problem is that the match was full of errors and did not reach its goal in my opinion; not the best way to start things off. Fortunately, Sheamus and Jeff Hardy improve the quality with their storyline and likely things between them are far from over. Good job by Strowman and Miz & Morrison, we all knew who was going to win but it achieved what it had to: entertain. Asuka and Nia Jax confirm that this is not women's night since their match let a lot of people down and the ending had people talking. By the way, for those who were complaining about Drew McIntyre as champion, he put a hell of a fight against Bobby Lashley, they showcased their abilities and once again Lana ruins Bobby's plans; this may sign the end of their marriage? Street Profits and Viking Raiders prove to be great entertainers, if you have not been involved in what they did and did not laugh then I don't know what kind of entertainment you may like.

But we arrive at the main event, The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever, Two masters of the ring, The Rated-R Superstar and The Viper, Edge against Randy Orton. The feelings are amazing, you can feel the electricity since the beginning with Charles Robinson dressed old school and the voice of Finkel who introduces us to the fight. The match was wonderful, a lot of sequences, great counters, great chemistry, you could not tell who was going to win. I do not know if this can be considered the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever but for sure it must be considered as one of the best. Edge returned after nine year and in this match he put his body on the line multiple times, Orton once again proves that he is still on a great shape; they gave tributes to their past opponents such as Kurt Angle, Triple H, The Rock, Christian, it had a fantastic storytelling with Orton that had to end the match with the punt kick. This fight had it all, showing that to have a magnificent Wrestling match you do not necessarily need high flying maneuvers and risky spots, sometimes all it takes is chemistry, two veterans, a story and one ring

The Show was good, with some highs and lows, but, as for WrestleMania and Money In The Bank, we cannot complain about their work because they are trying their best, all we have to do is enjoy the product and support our sport; now on to Extreme Rules, let us know your opinion on the Pay Per View leaving a comment and We'll meet again next time.
