Clash At The Castle is behind us, what developments are in store for us? What consequences will the Premium Live Event have? Raw is live from Kansas City!
Edge opens the show and talks about Dominik, saying that he saw him growing and asks what is happening to Rey's son. Edge wants to beat up Dominik and wants him to show up, instead Rey Mysterio appears and enters the ring: Rey apologizes on behalf of his son but Edge calls him out anyway; Rhea Ripley comes out and says she has turned Dominik into a man, so Rey tries to talk to him but Dominik ignores him and the Judgment Day attacks Edge, injuring his knee.
Miz and Ciampa still don't want to talk about Dexter Lumis: we learn that the Awesome One will face Bobby Lashley in a steel cage match with the United States Championship on the line. Miz and Ciampa find a lifted car.
We witness a Fatal-4 way Tag Team Match to determine the new Number 1 Contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships, the team involved are: Alpha Academy, New Day, Los Lotharios and the Street Profits. The match is very chaotic and the ref barely keeps everything under control: suddenly we hear Braun Strowman's music and the Monster Among Men returns and destroys all the teams and even the security.
The New Women's Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah are in the building for a scheduled match against Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. Great teamwork from the Champs which leads them to the victory.
We see a shocked Rey Mysterio being interviewed backstage: Rey once again says he loves his son and this situation it's The Judgment Day fault. He then claims he will never attack his son, before challenging one member of the JD to a match.
Mr. Money in the Bank Austin Theory makes his entrance: he says things didn't go as planned in Cardiff but he is happy because he still has the briefcase with him and will soon cash-in to become champion. Kevin Owens interrupts and makes fun of the youngest United States champion in history, with this situation leading to an impromptu match between the two. After a long and amazing fight, KO wins with the combo Pop-Up Powerbomb + Stunner.
Miz and Ciampa get ready for the steel cage match that awaits the A-Lister.
Damage Control is in the ring: Bayley is happy because they defeated Team Bianca in Cardiff and Dakota & Iyo challenge the Women's Tag Team Champions next week for the titles. Bianca Belair interrupts to challenge the Role Model to a match, but Bayley denies because she is in a celebration mood. Damage Control threatens The RAW Women's Champion before leaving the arena.
Johnny Gargano says Austin Theory is wrong about him swimming with the sharks, and announces that next week we will witness his return to in-ring action.
Rey gets ready to face Damian Priest one on one. We notice that Judgment Day is not with Priest for this fight, at least not from the beginning. As expected, Balor, Rhea and Dominik show up during the match to support The Punisher: thanks to the distractions, Priest manages to defeat Mr. 619. After the match, we learn that next week Dominik will face Edge.
Bobby Lashley says Miz is not intelligent and that the only person he needs to be scared of is the All Mighty. Braun warns everyone and says he will be on SmackDown. Matt Riddle asks for a rematch against Seth but the Visionary refuses.
It's main event Time with the Steel Cage: before the match even begins, Ciampa and Miz assault the US Champion to take advantage. Nonetheless, the contest starts and the All Mighty imposes his strength: Miz tries to escape multiple times, also with the help of ciampa, but failing and, when he is almost out, Lumis forces him back inside the ring where Lashley spears him to retain the Championship.
