We are live from San Jose, California, for another episode of Monday Night Raw: Theory vs Owens and a United States Championship match are scheduled, let's go!
The US Championship Match between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley is the opening of the evening: the contest is really balanced, with some moments good for the Champion and others for the challenger. The Visionary's quickness and strategical mind play an important role throughout the whole fight, while Lashley's power even the situation; after about 20 minutes of pure fight, Seth hits a low blow with the Ref distracted, but Matt Riddle shows up and allows Lashley to win the match with his Spear.
Damage CTRL appears for the Championship Celebration: Bayley gives credit to her friends and Dakota says that the division doesn't need Alexa, Asuka and Bianca. The RAW Women's Champion is accompanied by Little Miss Bliss and the Empress of Tomorrow and they threaten Damage CTRL: Alexa and Bayley argue so Bliss proposes a match between them.
Mr. Money In The Bank Austin Theory makes his way to the ring followed by the Prizefighter Kevin Owens for their scheduled match: Theory attacks before the bell rings to take a little advantage. This match is long too, and the outcome is controversial since Johnny Gargano distracts Austin and helps Owens take the win. After the match, Gargano makes fun of Austin.
Riddle says he took payback against Seth, and will help Rey get his vengeance against the Judgment Day.
The Street Profits face The Brawling Brutes: after an exhausting fight, Butch and Holland take a huge win which gives them some momentum ahead of their match against the Usos.
Rey and Riddle are ready to face the Judgment Day. Dominik Mysterio tries to speak but the crowd boos him: Dom is proud of being part of this group and they take a photo together. The match begins, Finn and Damian have the situation under control for the most part of the contest, Seth Rollins interferes against Riddle, Rey is left alone and loses the match.
The Miz and Ciampa are in the ring for MizTV: the A-lister talks about Lumis and says that he crossed the line and invites him in the ring. Lumis appears under the ring and tries to capture Miz and Ciampa, but they manage to escape.
The Judgment wants to celebrate the win, but Finn finds AJ and tells him that the offer is still on.
The Main Event is the previously announced match between Alexa and Bayley: both superstars are supported by their friends. The match is physical, and Alexa injures her leg during it: Bayley tries to win by cheating but Bianca provides that from happening. However, Asuka, Bianca, Iyo and Dakota take each other out but Dakota and Iyo still manage to help their captain to win. After the match, Damage CTRL beats their rivals down and Bayley challenges Bianca for the title ay Extreme Rules to close the show.
