The voice of the voiceless: "A joke of a Mr. Money In The Bank."

Otis as Mr. Money In The Bank

Oh yea, I know what most of you are thinking right now: "Otis is a joke of a Mr. Money In The bank, he does not deserve the briefcase and all the importance he is getting right now is pointless." Actually, this is why I chose this title for the article.

It is funny how people change their mind so quickly and blame WWE to make things the wrong way; it has been days now that I have been reading comments on the Internet of people who cheered for Otis and wanted to see him with the contract and now dislike and criticize him and the company. Let me make this very simple: who has been involved in the most important storyline on Smackdown lately? Who got the best reaction from the WWE Universe these past months? Who is an entertainer who makes fans smile whenever he is on TV? I'll amswer for you: Otis, Otis, Otis.

Now, he may not be the best in-ring performer or the best talker but, seriously, who cares? First, Otis is a great athlete that is only acting as a character in a fantastic way and second, it is good to give opportunities to those unpopular superstars sometimes, especially if they have had the spotlight during the Wrestlemania season. Plus, I am reading comments of people who are complaining about Drew McIntyre as WWE Champion so I really don't know what satisfies them.

The effort of helping people smile and laugh to avoid everyday worries is what matters, and WWE is doing great at it. Also, it is not for sure that Otis will actually cash-in that contract; he may use the briefcase for the Tag Team Titles, lose it or fail his opportunity, and I know that some of you would say that it is a complete waste of time but these are the consequences of the situation we all are going through. If this pandemic never happened we would now be talking of a completely different scenario and WWE knows that. I wonder how even in this moment people still have the arrogance to criticize what WWE and Wrestling in general is doing for them, instead of appreciating it, but maybe I am asking too much.

Now the weekly Shows, especially Raw, are enjoyable, characters are being built (Strowman, Rollins, Theory, Lashley, Morgan and I could go on) and storylines make sense, so why complaining? If something bothers you, you can watch something else, or express your opinion but WITHOUT offending or criticizing the others.

What awaits us in the future is uncertain, but as very important people said once: "don't worry about the future, don't let the past dictate or cloud your upcoming days and focus on the present". This is what we all should learn and, speaking of comments on the Internet, I talked about stop expressing our thoughts as a critique or offense because it may happen that a 22-year girl decide that she is not worthy of being here and therefore that the world can do without her, only because few bullies make this become the reality; Farewell Hana, you had dome nothing to deserve this. I invite you to reflect on this last paragraph;

For today it's all, have a nice day and never forget: Drink coffee and enjoy Morning!
