It's the last Friday Night Smackdown before SummerSlam, let's check out how we arrive at the Biggest Party of The Summer in this Morning Report!
The Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match to decide the N. 1 contender for the WWE Universal Title at Clash At The Castle opens the show: Sheamus attacks Drew during his entrance to get an advantage. As expected, the match is very physical: Brawling Brutes interfere but without much success. Drew McIntyre eventually picks up the win with a mid-height Claymore. Kayla Braxton interviews Drew but Theory attacks him from behind with the Briefcase stealing his spotlight and reminding that he is going to be the one with the title at Clash At The Castle.
Happy Corbin is in the crowd with a ticket to watch the show as a spectator and he places himself behind the commentary table to insult McAfee and to hit a low blow.
Heyman talks to Theory backstage.
We return to in-ring action with Aliyah vs Shotzi because we learn that Lacey Evans is unable to compete; Shotzi hits the "Never Wake Up" and defeats Aliyah to get a huge win.
Natalya interrupts the backstage segment between Ronda and Liv and Sonya joins them; we return to the ring because Ronda destroys Shotzi who is still there celebrating. Ronda calls Liv out and the SmackDown Women's Champion shows up to tag with the Baddest Woman on the planet against Sonya Deville and Natalya: the story here is that Liv doesn't want to tag Rousey in to prove herself but, in the end, Rousey enters and leads her team to the win.
We now move on to the men's tag team division with The Street Profits and The Usos with Jeff Jarrett who gives us the "Referee instructions." Jeff tells that he has only one job to do: to count One, Two, Three, and let the two team brawl, untill Jey Uso hits JJ with a superkick and the Profits take the Usos out.
Meanwhile, Max and Maxxine Duprà present to us the Maximum Male Models SummerSlam Beachwear collection.
It's time for The New Day vs The Viking Raiders: ridiculous win by the Vikings who also injure Woods after the match.
In the main event, Special Counsel Paul Heyman hosts a Special Address: he basically says that Roman is retaining the title, but Brock Lesnar shows up and tries to attack the Special Counsel with Theory who saves him but without success; Lesnar destroys Mr. Money In The Bank and McIntyre appears to hit a Claymore on him as well.
The show ends with a face to face between Drew and Lesnar who may face each other at Clash At The Castle.
Another Report has come to an end, we thank you for your participation and give you appointment to a next review.
