Kurt Angle returns, Seth Rollins and Riddle confront each other and we crown new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions tonight: Monday Night Raw is live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
The Phenomenal AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler team up against Finn Bàlor and Damian Priest of the Judgment Day to open the show. After a really chaotic match, the JD defeats the two veterans. While JD is leaving the arena, Edge arrives on a Mercedes, so Balor, Rhea and Damian invite him to fight and claim that they are tired of legends like Edge, Rey, Dolph or AJ: The Rated-R Superstar makes his entrance and says that under his learning tree, they haven't learnt anything; Dominik and Rey Mysterio ambush the bad guys from behind with kendo sticks forcing JD to retreat.
Ciampa and The Miz are interviewed but the A-lister doesn't want to talk about last week.
Alexa Bliss, Asuka & Bianca Belair face three sparring partners to prepare for their big match at Clash At The Castle. Easy win for Bianca's team. After the match, they warn their opponents of next Saturday.
Adam Pearce wants to help Miz who says that he has a match to prepare against Bobby Lashley and invites WWE Official to leave.
Pittsburgh's own Kurt Angle returns to WWE but Alpha Academy interrupts the Gold Medalist: Chad Gable says they are looking for new members for their Academy and invites Kurt to join them but he denies, so Otis wants to attack him but The Street Profits save the Hall Of Famer. Street Profits vs Alpha Academy is official but if Chad and Otis win, Kurt must join them: fortunately for Kurt, Montez and Angelo win and then they celebrate.
We see a video of Riddle and Rollins fighting in the parking lot and we now witness their interviews: Seth says that nobody likes The Bro and claims that he will beat him in Cardiff and will go on to compete for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but Riddle says that Becky is the only man in their marriage. The interview is over but WWE shows us that Rollins continued to insult Riddle and his family with the Bro who gets angrier and angrier.
The United States Champion Bobby Lashley faces The Miz (with Ciampa): during the match, Lumis appears and causes the loss of The Miz.
Edge and Kurt Angle have a fun segment backstage. We learn that at Clash At The Castle we will have Edge and Rey vs The Judgment Day.
Usos and Sami Zayn are in the building and tell us that Roman will celebrate two years of reign on SmackDown and the Tribal Chief will beat McIntyre in Cardiff: here, Kevin Owens enters and says that Raw is the KO Show and reminds us that Roman owes him something, so The Bloodline sends Sami to explain that The Head of the Table doesn't owe anything to anybody. Kev wants Sami to look at the mirror and remember who he is but The Honorary Uce says that The Bloodline likes him, with Jey inviting The Prizefighter to leave: The former Universal Champion enters the ring and insults the Bloodline so we have an impromptu match between Kevin Owens and Jey Uso.
During the fight, Jimmy and Sami try to get involved and the Usos want Zayn to hit Kev with a chair, but the master strategist esitate and this costs Jey USO the match.
Miz goes away with his car but we see that Dexter Lumis is in the car with him.
Johnny Gargano says he's happy to be back and he's also happy for Theory even though he didn't call him for nine months: Mr. Money in the bank interrupts and says that Johnny didn't call him when he won the US title or the MITB because he is jealous and warns him that he is swimming with the sharks.
Main Event time with Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah vs Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai to crown new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions: the match is basically a Handicap Match since Aliyah is taken out; Alexa, Bianca and Asuka prevent Bayley to interfere and, surprisedly, Aliyah out smarts Iyo and Kai leading her team to the victory and to the Women's Tag Team Championships.
The last Raw before Clash At The Castle ends with a huge surprise, now on to SmackDown before heading to Cardiff. As always, let us know your thoughts and we give appointment to a next report!
