Friday Night Smackdown is in Montreal with Women's Tag Team Championships Tournament, a Fatal-5 way to determine the N. 1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship and much more!
Ronda Rousey enters the ring because she wants to be reinstated. Adam Pearce invites Ronda to leave the ring peacefully, but the baddest woman on the planet doesn't accept so Pearce sends the security which is destroyed by the former MMA Fighter. Ronda is arrested and brought out of the arena. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns arrives.
Sonya Deville & Natalya are set to face Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin of Toxic Attraction in the first round of the Women's Tag Team Championships Tournament; we learn that Zoey Stark & Nikkita Lyons are unable to compete and, therefore, Toxic Attraction is their replacement. Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky & Bayley have a ticket and watch the match. The two arrivals from NXT win and advance in the tournament.
Sami Zayn learns that Roman wants to see him, so the Honorary Uce enters the locker room: the two have fun together and Roman leaves for a couple of minutes; here, Jey calls the Tribal Chief but Sami answers and tells Roman that the Usos are not in the arena. Sami tells him that he has a match to prepare and Roman wants the Honorary Uce to warn Kevin Owens that he doesn't owe anything to anybody and Zayn accepts. Roman is perplexed.
Maximum Male Models are in the square: Hit Row interrupts and destroys the Models. Top Dolla takes the microphone and starts a sort of concert with his friends. Maxxine Duprà appears to enjoy their performance but Max stops her.
We see a video of Karrion Kross & Scarlett talking about Reigns and McIntyre who will have a Face-to-face later.
Sheamus enters the arena for the Fatal-5 way match featuring also Ricochet, Sami Zayn, Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin. Montréal's crowd is amazing as always and supports Zayn throughout the contest. Sami injures himself during the fight and is forced to leave the match, which turns into a Fatal-4 way. Zayn eventually returns but, finally, Sheamus picks up the win and will face Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at Clash At The Castle.
Viking Raiders celebrate their battles against the New Day but claim that their time has passed and burn some New Day Merchandise.
Liv is interviewed and says that she is ready for every challenge, including her match of this night. The SmackDown Women's Champion makes her way to the ring to face Shotzi: Morgan wins thanks to the ObLIVion. After the match, Shayna Baszler attacks the Champion and shows her that she can break her arm if she wants to.
Happy Corbin vs Ricochet and the Semi-final of the Tournament are announced for next week.
Roman Reigns without the Usos and without his Special Counsel makes his entrance for his face to face with McIntyre. Roman says that he is the main event, that Drew is a liar and that Drew is beneath him: the Scottish Warrior interrupts and claims that Reigns doesn't deserve to be Undisputed Champion because he has others working for him and the two start to fight; Zayn sacrifices himself and takes a Claymore but ,nonetheless, McIntyre hits the claymore on the Tribal Chief as well.
SmackDown ends with the N.1 contender standing tall with both tiles on his hands and with the Head Of The Table gasping for air, will this be the scene at Clash At The Castle? We will find out in a few weeks, meanwhile we give appointment to a next report!
